In the journal Aquatic Toxicology (IF: 3,884) a paper titled “Real-time CO2 uptake/emission measurements as a tool for early indication of toxicity in Lemna-tests” was published.

The study investigated the effect of pesticides and heavy metals on photosynthetic and respiratory activity of duckweed, Lemna minor, reflected in CO2 uptake/emission rates. Within this research the ResTox respiratory activity measuring system, developed within the DEFENSoil project, was used.
